March 2012 Updates! Great news!

We welcome Sandy Reed, our new treasurer, to our Mujeres' Board. Sandy and her husband, Jim, traveled to Chiapas in December as part of the small group that I led. Sandy's interest in what we do there prompted us to invite her to join with us. She accepted, and her background of teacher, bookkeeper, travel agent as well as her current membership in Soroptimist International of Sequim (our longtime supporter) will be a great asset to us.
She has survived her first marathon board meeting!! Welcome, Sandy!!

Wonderful news from Alternative Gifts International! Mujeres has been selected to grace the pages of their Alternative Gifts Catalog for the fourth year in a row. This organization has been an amazing support for us.
