GARAGE SALE A SUCCESS!
This year's garage sale (May 21, 2011) was the best yet! We had some wonderful donations. Thank you to all who provided us with such great "stuff" for the sale. Our former secretary Pat Lang donated all her calligraphy materials...a substantial amount...and then alerted the Peninsula Scribes who not only showed up to buy but also carted away what was left over and sent Mujeres a $75 check.
A sincere thanks goes to Rose Bridge who toiled many hours (along with Linda) setting up the sale and being cashier on sale day. Thanks to participating board members as well!
The weather was not the best and the drizzle persisted until about noon. But the chilly and damp did not dissuade the many people who just kept coming!
Several people noted that our annual "quality" sale is definitely one to watch for!
