DIA DE MUERTOS EVENT A HUGE SUCCESS!!!

146 Dinners Served!!

What an evening! Saturday, November 2 was our best event yet!  If you attended, thank you!
And if you attended in spirit, we thank you as well!

Molly Rivard, Board Member and cook extraordinaire, was assisted by Board Member Steve Gilchrist and a superb kitchen crew consisting of Board Member Martha Rudersdorf, David Fox, Bob Pasco, Gail Mabbut, Claire Haycox, Rhonda Karls, Tim Trosin, Neilu Naini and Cindy Moore.  The resulting chile relleno casserole, corn salad and beans, produced raves up and down the tables.

Our silent auction was diverse, international and beautiful. Bids were generous.

Soroptimist International of Sequim Club's President Amanda Beitzel presents their annual check to Judith.

Cort and Kia Armstrong added music to the live auction. Cort's original composition specifically about the live auction and Mujeres got folks laughing and in the mood to raise their hands to bid!  Mujeres is very appreciative of their time and efforts on our behalf.

A shout-out to our invaluable volunteers, without whom this event wouldn't take place. Outside the kitchen:  Rose Bridge, Martha Lumia, Sandy Woodward, Kathy Strozyk, Jane Manzer, Beth Fetrow, John Boetsch, Connie Kinyon and Gayle, Colleen Blazier, Michael Bucierka, the Boenish family, Tim Finch, David LeRoux, Jim Reed, Carrie Rodlend, Mary Ann Deuth, Mary Norton, Pheryl Montroy, Barb Pearl, Sheila Martin and Bev Carbis . David Fox is invaluable with the computer.

We thank the Masonic Hall for their help.

The  Mujeres' Board (Sandy Reed, Martha Rudersdorf, Molly Rivard, Cathy Van Ruhan, Steve Gilchrist, Linda Finch, Judith Pasco)  is humbled and grateful to have such wonderful, such loyal, and such generous supporters.
